Project Description
This project involved the design, manufacture, and erection of a bespoke three-bedroom timber frame family home set in rural Cumbria. Working closely with the client and their architect, Lakeland Timber Frame provided a full supply and erect package, ensuring the frame was delivered and assembled on time and to specification.
The external walls featured 140 mm stud panels with factory-fitted breather membrane, and the roof structure included trussed rafters with high-level insulation to meet modern energy standards. All internal partitions and Easi-joist floor systems were manufactured in-house and delivered with structural steel and glulam elements as required. The entire frame was erected in just eight working days, allowing external and internal finishing to begin immediately.
This project showcases Lakeland Timber Frame’s ability to deliver precision-built, energy-efficient homes through close collaboration, attention to detail, and efficient on-site execution.

Lakeland Timber Frame has been a great partner to us and I personally cannot be more grateful.
