Frequently Asked Questions
What’s included in a standard timber frame supply package?
Our standard supply includes external and internal wall panels, floor joists, roof timbers, structural elements (e.g. steel or glulam), cavity closers, and wall ties. We also offer insulation packages and factory-fitted options.
Do you offer a full supply and erect service?
Yes. We can supply only, or supply and erect using our experienced teams. Erection includes delivery, cranes (if needed), and all necessary travel and accommodation.
Can timber frame homes be finished with brick or stone?
Absolutely. Timber frame structures are compatible with a wide range of external finishes, including brick, stone, render, or timber cladding — so your home can look as traditional or modern as you like.
Do you support self-build projects?
Yes, we offer a co-operative self-build service. We’ll work with you and your architect, provide CAD designs, structural verification, and supply or erect the frame based on your needs.
How long does it take to erect a timber frame?
Once the foundation is ready, most frames can be erected and made weather-tight in 3–10 working days, depending on the size and complexity of the build.
What types of buildings do you construct besides houses?
We also design and build extensions, stables, lodges, offices, workshops, and other outbuildings. All are made to the same high standards and tailored to your project.
